I only spent a short 9 months at McAfee as a contractor with the Web User Interface team, but I gelled so well with the incredible people there, that I can easily call that time in my life the most fun I’ve ever had at work.

As it is with Silicon Valley, you can never stay in one place too long, we have all gone our separate ways now, but a year and a half after I left, we had a UI team reunion at our old bossman’s place!

Team members past and present got together for some good food, drinks, and to talk about the old times. Since we are all a bunch of web developers, the topics of conversation were often excessively geeky. At one point there was a toast made to web developers everywhere pushing for web standards!

I had a great time–guys, let’s not wait too long to do this again!
