Just after Canon wowed everyone with their new 50d, Nikon counters with a first in the business - a dSLR that does video. The HD video it produces is great quality since you get to use all your lenses with it.

UPDATE: Canon counters with the announcement of their 5D mkII, with also has HD video. Unfortunately, it’s still in a higher price bracket than the d90. This will undoubtedly trickle down to their 50d line eventually.

I really liked the 40D, and the 50D is a minor upgrade from that. My 20D is beginning to look a little outdated…
